A 44-year-old Greenwich man was arrested Monday and charged with sexually assaulting a child under the age of 16. A warrant was issued last Wednesday for Abner Sosa of 10 N. Water St. Police said Sosa was charged with inappropriate contact with the child when they were alone at a Greenwich residence. Sosa and the child knew on another, police said. In addition to sexual assault, Sosa was charged with risk of injury to a minor.
The arrest warrant was sealed by the court and no further information is being released at this time. Sosa is being held on a $25,000 bond and is due in court on April 18.
