A patient’s wife was recently moved by Greenwich Hospital employee’s small act of kindness.
While a patient's wife was visiting, she went to the family room in search of a cup of coffee. The pot was empty, and she didn’t know how to brew more. She didn’t see any staff there, but eventually spotted Rodriguez, who had just finished remaking the bed of a discharged patient.
A while later, Rodriguez came in with two cups of coffee, one regular and one decaf, because she didn’t know which the patient's wife preferred.
"I was so touched by her concern. Though a cup of coffee is a small thing, it’s symbolic of the wonderful attitude and ambiance of Greenwich Hospital," said the patient's wife.
