update: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Eversource and United Illuminating were reporting a number of large power outages on Wednesday afternoon.
As of 3 p.m., these outages continued:
- 268 outages in Greenwich
- 137 outages in Redding
But a large power outage reported in Bridgeport had been repaired, UI said.
A small power outage in Danbury had also been repaired, Eversource said.

The following outages were reported as of 1:40 p.m.:
- Bridgeport: 2,574 customers
- Danbury: 13 customers
- Greenwich: 564 customers
- Redding: 137 customers
Wednesday was rainy with light winds.
