The Greenwich pet of the week is Callie, a 3-month-old spayed American bulldog/boxer mix puppy.

And don't forget the shelter's annual "Howl and Prowl" parade and costume contest Saturday from 1 to 3 on Greenwich Avenue. Co-sponsored by Adopt-A-Dog and Pet Pantry Warehouse, the parade is free and the costume contest is $20.
