Party Marks a Century for B&G Club

The Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich, celebrating its centennial this year, will reap the benefits of an intimate event hosted by the Connecticut-based law firm, Pullman and Comley.

"Several of the attorneys from Pullman and Comley live in Greenwich," said Kathy Siden, director of development for the club. "They wanted to have a small party to benefit the Boys & Girls Club."

The event will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at the Club House of the Greenwich Water Club. It will be an evening of networking, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres to raise funds for the club's after-school program.

"We had our big gala last Friday, so this will be an alternative for those not into the gala scene, for a casual, fun, professional party to raise revenue," Siden said.

For 100 years, the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich has aimed to provide high-quality programs to build character and citizenship and offer kids a safe, nurturing and affordable environment in which to succeed.

The Greenwich Water Club is located at 49 River Road in Cos Cob. Tickets are $45 at the door. All checks must be made payable to "Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich."
