Greenwich Woman Scares Up Massive Decorations For Halloween

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich resident Maria Bruno loves Halloween — and it's not hard to tell. She has covered her Chickahominy home with ghost, goblins, ghouls and everything else imaginable.

While that may not seem unusual — many people spend a lot of time decorating their homes — Bruno has taken it to an extreme. Her home at 27 St. Roch Ave. appears to disappear under the decorations, which almost completely cover the house and even reach to the roof.

"I just started buying my own decorations. And then people gave me some, and I fixed them up and out them out," she said.

What's even more unusual is that she didn't grow up with Halloween — but has adopted it as her own.

"I'm from Brazil, and we do not have Halloween," said Bruno. "But I love it."
