Greenwich Library Offers Technology Classes In August

Each class is from 2-2:55 p.m. in the library's training center, 101 W. Putnam Ave. They are:

Aug. 5 -- Read Apps: Check out the library's downloadable collection of reading and listening materials available for Apple and Android mobile devices and tablets with more than 200 magazine titles from Zino; 10,000+ eBooks and audio books from OverDrive and OneClickDigital.

Aug, 12 -- Best Fitness Apps for iPad and iPhone: If you like to work out, run, lift, do yoga, or even bike, find out about the best apps that can help "train" you.

Aug. 19 -- Basics of Syncing: Get off to the right start when you set up a cloud account to sync calendars, email accounts, music, books and apps over multiple mobile, work and home devices.

Aug. 26 -- Drop Box, Google Drive and Quick Office: Drop Box, Google Drive and Quick Office provide cloud-based document creation applications and storage systems which allow you to access your documents from multiple devices and share them with others.
