Greenwich Library Brings Business Programs For March

GREENWICH, Conn. -- This month, Greenwich Library patrons can learn how to manage their assets, plan for retirement and become more tax savvy, with a variety of business-related sessions -- with the first one on Wednesday, March 2.

All these programs are open to all at no charge and held in the Library Meeting Room unless otherwise indicated. Experienced librarians are also available to help you navigate the Library's extensive business databases, directories, investor information and nonprofit resources, via email or in person.

Family Financial Planning Series: Tax Planning -- Wednesday, March 2, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. -- This session will review essential federal and state income tax concepts, like adjusted gross versus taxable income and progressive versus alternative minimum tax, to help implement a tax-efficient family financial plan. Family Financial Planning Series: Asset Allocation & Retirement Planning -- Thursday, March 10, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. -- This session will give an overview of major asset classes, key investment parameters and how they are relevant to retirement planning. It will illustrate the importance of disciplined investment approach. Register here.

Money.Net Terminal Training -- Friday, March 11, from 11 a.m. to noon -- Andy Bodrog, director of sales from Money.Net will conduct a training session on how to use this new financial platform, recently installed at Greenwich Library. No registration required.

Email Marketing Strategies -- Monday, March 14, at 2 p.m. -- Email marketing is a powerful way to get in front of prospects, develop relationships, build trust and generate revenue. This workshop will teach the basics. No registration required.

SCORE – Reach your Business Goals with a Healthy Work Life Balance -- Wednesday, March 16, from 6-8 p.m. -- In this highly interactive workshop, Shannon Daniels will discuss how you can effectively set and reach your business goals while also maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
