Bruce Museum Sponsors Sunday Events At Greenwich Point Park

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Bruce Museum is sponsoring two events at Greenwich Point Park on Sunday. 

Residents are invited to learn about oysters at an event sponsored by the Bruce Museum at Greenwich Point Park on Sunday, Nov. 3.

Residents are invited to bring binoculars to Greenwich Point Park from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to enjoy a 2-mile stroll to view birds in their natural habitat.

This event is held in collaboration with Wild Wings and Audubon Greenwich. Admission is free. Call 203-413-6756 for more information.

From 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., The Bruce teams up with the Greenwich Shellfish Commission and the Health Department to give guests at Greenwich Point Park the chance to experience oyster fishing and learn about the habitat and natural history of the oyster at the Seaside Center. 

There is no fee for Oyster Fishing Family Day and all activities are suitable for guests of all ages.
