Bike Night Assault Suspect Accused Of Plotting To Throw Explosive Device In CT Business: Cops
A Connecticut man already charged in a violent assault at a Bike Night event is now accused of helping plot an explosive attack on the victim's business.
Kevin Lawlor, 48, of Derby, was arrested Thursday, July 23, on charges including conspiracy to commit third-degree arson and conspiracy to commit third-degree criminal mischief, according to Connecticut State Police.
The new charges stem from an incident on July 17, two days after a fight at Cadillac Ranch in Southington, where a man was shot, and another was beaten.

Bridgeport Caribbean Jerk Festival Rescheduled, Memorial Tribute Planned
Bridgeport’s 18th Annual Caribbean Jerk Festival has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 25, after inclement weather forced a change in plans.
The city said the event will run from noon to 8 p.m. at the Seaside Park Band Shell, bringing Caribbean food, live entertainment, cultural performances, vendors, and family activities to Bridgeport.
According to the City of Bridgeport’s Facebook post, the West Indian American Association of Greater Bridgeport is inviting the community to take part in the daylong celebration of Caribbean culture, cuisine, and community.
