Federal, state, and local law enforcement have stepped up their search and increased the reward for a Connecticut man wanted for allegedly stabbing and dismembering his 11-month-old daughter.
Police say Christopher Francisquini, age 31, of Naugatuck, killed Camilla Francisquini on Friday, Nov. 18 in Naugatuck.

College Student Killed In Stabbing On CT Roadway
A man who was stabbed to death in Connecticut has been identified as a student at Southern Connecticut State University.
Nico Saraceni, age 29, was found around 9:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 10, in New Haven on Whalley Avenue, between Whittlesey Avenue and Osborn Avenue, said Officer Scott Shumway, of the New Haven Police.
American Medical Response transported Saraceni to Yale New Haven Hospital where he died from his injuries, he added.

A new travel advisory has been issued for Americans who may be planning on heading to Mexico, warning them of "violent crime and kidnapping.”
The US State Department advisory comes after incidents of vandalism, looting, and other crimes in the northern part of the Mexican state of Baja California, including the city of Tijuana, along the southern-most border of California.

A Fairfield County man has been sentenced to four years in prison for his role in an auto theft ring that included using the vehicles in violent crimes.
Christopher "Chucky" Mulkern, age 22, of Stratford, was sentenced on Monday, Jan. 3, to prison time, followed by three years of supervised release, said Leonard C Boyle, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.

An 18-year-old teen accused of randomly stabbing a Greenwich woman while wearing a mask has been placed on a suicide watch.
Ellis Tibere, of Guilford, who appeared in Norwalk Superior Court on Tuesday, Jan. 7, was placed on suicide watch after his attorney expressed concern, following the Monday, Jan. 6, attack in Westport that left the 33-year-old woman in serious condition.

Man Shot Twice In Vehicle Dies During Crash On Way To Hospital, Bridgeport Police Say
A 21-year-old man who was shot in the head and neck while sitting in a vehicle died after on the way to the hospital during a crash, said the Bridgeport Police.
The incident took place around 9:21 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, when two gunshots were fired on Gem Avenue near Whitney Avenue, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
A 21-year-old man was shot in the head and neck while seated in a vehicle, and the vehicle's driver fled the scene, attempting to take the victim to the hospital, Jones said.

Man Stabbed To Death In Norwalk, Police Say
A man was stabbed to death in Norwalk overnight, police said.
Michael Moody, 29, was found around 1 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, after police received a 911 call, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terrence Blake.
Arriving officers located Moody in a Fairfield Avenue apartment and began rendering aid. He was then transported to Norwalk Hospital where he died, Blake said.
A person of interest in Moody’s death has been identified and the investigation remains active, Blake said.

Estranged Husband, Girlfriend Charged In Missing New Canaan Mom Case
Two people have been charged in connection to the missing person case of Jennifer Farber Dulos, the mother of five from New Canaan who has not been heard from since Friday, May 24.
New Canaan Police announced on Sunday, June 2 that Dulos' estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, 51, of Farmington, Connecticut, and his girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, 44, also of Farmington, are facing charges with each being held on a $500,000 bond.
The two have each been charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, and hindering prosecution in the first degree.

Police Using Camera Surveillance, Warrants In Search For New Canaan Mom
Police say they have secured search warrants and are also reportedly using camera surveillance as they investigate the disappearance of a 50-year-old mother of five from Fairfield County.
Jennifer Farber Dulos, 50, of New Canaan, was last seen on Friday, May 24, dropping off her children at school and was reported missing later that same day after failing to show up for meetings with friends.
She is described as being slender, 5-foot-7, with dark brown eyes, and shoulder-length brown hair.
