According to Lt. Brian Weir, of the Trumbull Police Department, the crash occurred when an Infiniti collided with a Subaru Crosstrek on the Monroe Turnpike near the intersection of Monroe Turnpike, or Route 111, and Technology Drive. Woman Dies After Being Pulled From River In Fairfield County A woman whose body was pulled from a river in Fairfield County has died. The 41-year-old Bridgeport woman was found floating early Friday, July 23, in the area of the Pequonnock River in Trumbull between White Plains Road and Quarry Road, said police. Two Injured In Trumbull Head-On Crash Two people were injured during a head-on crash on Merrimac Drive in Trumbull. The crash took place around 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, with both the Long Hill and Trumbull Center fire departments responding for a possible entrapment.
