Woman Critically Injured After Being Struck By Car In Fairfield County A Fairfield County woman remained in critical but stable condition after being struck and trapped beneath a vehicle. The incident took place around 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6 in the parking garage at 2200 Bedford St., in Stamford. A 2011 Nissan Altima being driven by an 84-year-old Stamford resident was traveling southbound through the parking garage when she struck the 73-year-old as she was walking through the garage, said Stamford Police Sgt.
