Ex-Yankees Star Mariano Rivera Sells Westchester Home At $2M Loss, Report Says
Retired Yankees pitcher and Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera has sold his longtime home in Westchester County.
Rivera and his wife, Clara, unloaded the 13,000 square-foot, nine-bedroom mansion, located in Rye, for $3.783 million, as was first reported by The Wall Street Journal.
The home hit the market in 2020 for $3.995 million and the buyer spent the past year renting the home for nearly $19,000 a month, according to the outlet.
Despite the impressive sale price, the Riveras actually took a loss, having purchased the home for $5.7 million in 2006, the report says.

A lifelong Hudson Valley resident who was a beloved high school coach, and teacher, as well as the chief of a local fire department, and a standout college athlete in Connecticut, has died.
Northern Westchester resident Michael Repp, of Somers and formerly of Katonah, died on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at age 82 at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco.

Covid-19: NY To Permit Arenas, Stadiums To Reopen To Public, With Specified Maximum Capacities
New York’s economy is opening up a little wider, with sports arenas, stadiums, and theaters given the green light to open with certain COVID-19 restrictions in place.
Citing the success of allowing nearly 7,000 fans into the stadium for the Buffalo Bills playoff run after being tested, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced on Wednesday that more large venues can open back up as the state combats COVID-19.

Quinnipiac University Grad Anthony Milea Dies At 27
Anthony F. Milea of White Plains died on Monday, March 5. He was 27 years old.
He leaves behind his parents, Andrea and Robert; his sister Kristen; and his love, Caily. Anthony is also survived by his grandmother, Noreen Milea, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Growing up, Anthony was always an energetic child who lit up the room. From being a diehard Green Bay Packers fan since the age of 5, to becoming utterly obsessed with golf, Anthony had a great passion for sports and was a relentless competitor.
