Boy Killed In Skiing Accident At Mount Southington An 8-year-old boy was killed from injuries sustained during a skiing accident in the area. Logan Murphy Mengold, the son of Jason and Kristen (Murphy) Mengold, died on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Yale-New Haven Hospital following injuries sustained in the accident on Feb. 19 at the Mount Southington ski area, his obituary said.
