State Trooper Found Asleep In Cruiser On I-84 Charged With DUI A Connecticut state trooper was arrested for alleged driving under the influence after being found asleep in his patrol cruiser along I-84. Shaquile Ajene Williams, of Middletown, was arrested around 12:50 a.m., Monday, March 16, after the department in Southbury received a call reporting a state police cruiser parked on the side of I-84 in Waterbury with its hazard lights on, said the Connecticut State Police.
