Beloved HS Teacher, Coach Who Was College Standout In Connecticut Dies A lifelong Hudson Valley resident who was a beloved high school coach, and teacher, as well as the chief of a local fire department, and a standout college athlete in Connecticut, has died. Five From Fairfield County Charged With DWI In NY State Police Stops More than 30 motorists were busted by New York State Police troopers as law enforcement agencies in the Hudson Valley continue a nationwide crackdown on drunk, drugged and distracted driving. A total of 18 of those charged were from the region: Westchester County On Friday, Oct. 12, State Police from Somers arrested Edwin P. Loja Cabrera, 21, of Ossining, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 100 in Somers, when he was involved in a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested. Alert For Missing Teen Near Fairfield County Border Have you seen him? A teen has gone missing from the Lincoln Hall facility for troubled boys in Northern Westchester. State Police responded to Lincoln Hall in Somers for a report of a missing teenager on Monday, April 16 at 10 a.m. Staff at Lincoln Hall reported the 17-year-old Abraham Jimenez Galdamez jumped a wall near Lovell Street and Route 202.  Galdamez is approximately 5-foot-6, 127 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing black pants.
