Dog Shot, At Large After 'Vicious' Attack In CT, Police Say
Police officers in Connecticut had to shoot a dog that remains at large after it was involved in what was described as a “vicious” attack, according to authorities.
In Hartford County, police responded to a “vicious dog complaint” in Bristol on Friday, May 27, on French Street.
According to Bristol Police Lt. Robert Osborne, upon arrival, officers found a pit bull actively attacking its victim, and it had to be shot at the scene to halt the attack.
Osborne said that after being struck, the medium-sized brown pit bull took off in an unknown direction and its injuries were initially unclear.…
