Fairfield County 13-Year-Old Arrested For Gun Photo
A 13-year-old Trumbull student was arrested for posting comments and a photo of himself on social media holding a handgun, according to Trumbull Police. The posting and arrest took place on Saturday while he was in a group text with other students, police said. Trumbull Police were notified after a parent of one of the other students in the group found the post on their child’s cell phone, police added. The gun in the photo was found to be a replica BB gun.
