New photos have been released by police investigators in Fairfield County who are attempting to identify and locate suspects who allegedly stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from Ralph Lauren. The New Canaan Police Department issued an alert for four suspects who have been identified as suspects in a pair of retail thefts that were reported at Ralph Lauren on Elm Street last month. A trio of professional rip-off thieves who have allegedly been targeting the Ralph Lauren store in New Canaan got away after a high-speed chase and driving into a police vehicle. The incident took place around 3:20 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 13, while a New Canaan officer was working a security assignment at the store located at 51 Elm St., said New Canaan Lt. Jason Ferraro. An investigation into the theft of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise at a Ralph Lauren store in Fairfield County has been launched by the New Canaan Police Department. Three larcenies have recently taken place at the Ralph Lauren location on Elm Street in New Canaan within the past week, Police Lt. Jason Ferraro said.
