Tesla Recalls 130,000 Vehicles Due To Center-Screen Computer Overheating Issue
Tesla has announced a new round of recalls, this time for nearly 130,000 cars that have computers inside that can overheat and malfunction while the vehicles are being charged. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that the screen - which is used for rearview cameras, warning lights, gear shift indicators, and other features, was part of an “over-the-air" software update that led to the recall. Tesla Announces New Recall Of 578,000 Vehicles Due To 'Boombox' Function
Tesla is recalling nearly 600,000 more vehicles that pose a potential risk to pedestrians. The auto dealer announced that it is recalling 578,607 vehicles in the US because pedestrians may be unaware of an approaching vehicle if warning risk sounds are obscured. Recalled vehicles include 2020 through 2022 Model S, Model X, Model Y, and 2017 through 2022 Model 3 vehicles. Tesla Vehicles Recalled For Rolling Through Stop Signs
Tesla is recalling nearly 54,000 vehicles installed with faulty software that could lead to certain cars and SUVs rolling through stop signs, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
