Fairfield County Man Nabbed For Home Burglary, Car Theft, Police Say A Fairfield County man was nabbed on a warrant for a burglary and car theft that took place earlier this month. Marcus Vereen of Stratford was arrested Tuesday after investigators found him on Burritt Avenue, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.  According to Eannotti, the department held an active arrest warrant for Vereen for his connection with a residential burglary and stolen car that occurred on Marcroft Street on Aug. 7.  Vereen attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended.
