Police Searching For Brazen Fairfield County Home Invasion Suspect Police are searching for a man who allegedly attacked a woman and forced her into her home at gunpoint during broad daylight in Fairfield County.  The brazen attack took place around 11 a.m., Thursday, July 8, on Jewett Avenue in Bridgeport. A man who had been seen in the area forced the woman into her home at gunpoint and demanded she lie down on the floor, said Scott Appleby, the City of Bridgeport's director of Emergency Management.
