Darien Police say a complainant reported an incident of a potentially suspicious transaction on behalf of his mother on Saturday, April 20 around 11:30 a.m. The complainant allegedly told officers that one of the victim’s checks had been cashed in New Jersey in the amount of $5,200 on Tuesday, April 9.
