More than 20 pro-Palestinian protesters have been arrested at the University of Connecticut after being told to leave by university officials. CBS affiliate WFSB Eyewitness News 3 reported that 23 protestors were arrested on Tuesday, April 30 as UConn Police moved in to take down the encampment. Alex Jones Ordered To Pay Sandy Hook Shooting Victim's Family A Total Of $49M
Far-right radio host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has been ordered by a Texas jury to pay nearly $50 million to the family of a young boy killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. A national parent-led organization that aims to “reclaim our schools from activists promoting harmful agendas” is suing a New England school district for alleged discrimination against white students.
