Police-Involved Shooting: Bridgeport Officers Kill Suspect Who Fled Traffic Stop, Cops Say Police in Fairfield County fatally shot a suspect allegedly involved in weapons and narcotics who fled from officers and took them on a police chase.  The shooting incident began in Bridgeport around 5:10 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 4, and ended in New Haven County in Ansonia with the death of the unnamed suspect.  According to Capt. The incident took place in New Haven County around 6:15 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, in Ansonia. Arsene Ndabian, age 64, of Bridgeport was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 10, by warrant for his involvement in the crash on Division Street where an 81-year-old pedestrian was struck and seriously injured, said Lt. Purse Thief Snatches Two From Vehicles Over Two Days In CT, Police Say Police are searching for a man who allegedly stole two purses from vehicles within two days while the victims were present.  The Ansonia Police Department said the two events took place on Saturday, Jan. 30 and Sunday, Jan. 31, at the Cumberland Farms on Pershing Drive and the other from the Stop & Shop on Division Street.
