Torrington resident Christopher Galvin, 45, has been sentenced to five and a half years in prison, followed by 10 years probation after he pleaded guilty in January to second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and enticing a minor through a computer. Man Had Child Porn From Victim Of Sexual Assault In Shelton A 45-year-old man behind bars after police say they found photos of a child victim of sexual assault. Christopher Galvin of Torrington was arrested in January and again in April after police allegedly caught him having sexual relations with a 13-year-old girl in Shelton. The Shelton Police Department arrested Galvin once more on Friday, Nov. 30 and charged him with illegal possession of child pornography after concluding their investigation and finding nude photos of the victim at various ages on Galvin’s mobile phone. Galvin was held on $10,000 bond. He was arraigned on Friday, Nov. 30.
