Fairfield Police Pursue Stolen Car That Smashed Into Post Road Hydrant FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The driver of a stolen Jeep Grand Cherokee smashed into a Post Road fire hydrant and led police on a brief pursuit before ditching the car in Bridgeport early Saturday, Fairfield police said. Officers first spotted the Jeep traveling east on Old Post Road in Fairfield with two other vehicles also believed to be stolen from the area just after 4 a.m., police said. Fairfield Boy, 10, Seriously Hurt By Dog While Fundraising Door To Door FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A 10-year-old boy going door-to-door selling magazine subscriptions was sent to the hospital with dog bites last week, after he entered a fenced yard containing a great dane, Fairfield police said. Police: Blanket-Wearing Man Exposes Self To Neighbor In Westport WESTPORT, Conn. — A Westport man was arrested after he left his home wearing only a blanket and then exposed himself to a female neighbor, police said. The victim said she was checking her mail on Tuesday when her neighbor, identified as 59-year-old John Blackman of Hales Court, said something to her and then opened the blanket, exposing his genitals, police said. Police: Westport Teen Arrested In Prescription Drugs Fraud WESTPORT, Conn. — A Westport teen was arrested for stealing a prescription pad and trying to fill three fake prescriptions at a town pharmacy, police said. On Friday, Luke Montgomery 19, of Hillspoint Road, was charged with obtaining controlled drugs fraud.
