Hudson Man ID'd As Victim In Single-Vehicle Fatal Crash, Driver Charged A 28-year-old man from the region has been identified as the victim of a single-vehicle fatal crash in which the driver was charged with vehicular manslaughter.  The collision occurred in Greene County at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, on Route 54 in the town of New Baltimore. Newburgh Woman Gets 6 Months In Jail for Double-Fatal, Hit-Run Crash In Hudson Valley A woman has been sentenced to six months in jail for the double-fatal, hit-and-run crash in the region.  Orange County resident Angela Fischl, age 25, of Newburgh, pleaded guilty to two counts of leaving the scene of an incident resulting in death on Tuesday, Oct. 15, Following her plea, she was sentenced to five years probation and six months in the Ulster County Jail. Double-Fatal Crash: Men In 20s ID'd As Victims After Vehicle Hits Deer In Lumberland Two men from the region were killed when the vehicle they were riding struck a deer and then a tree, ejecting both. The incident occurred in Sullivan County at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, in the area of 196 Rio Dam Road in Lumberland. According to Sullivan County Sheriff's Office Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, an investigation revealed that two men were riding a single four-wheel ATV westbound on Rio Dam Road when they struck a deer in the roadway.  Chaboty said this caused the quad to leave the pavement and strike a tree.
