Sandra Cohen, of West Hartford, was arrested around 4 p.m., on Thursday, Dec. 12, said Connecticut State Police.

According to police, troopers assigned to the airport were dispatched to an individual aboard a Spirit Airline flight to Fort Myers, Florida, who allegedly pushed a Spirit employee.

Upon arriving on the scene it was learned from the Spirit shift supervisor that Cohen was cursing, irritate, and grabbed an attendant. The supervisor told officers that Cohen's right to fly aboard the aircraft had been revoked, police said.

Troopers then met with Cohen, who was seated aboard the aircraft. Her demeanor was allegedly confrontational and she failed to comply with commands to leave the aircraft, police said.

After being told numerous times to leave, she was handcuffed and escorted off the aircraft.

Cohen was charged with interfering/resisting, disorderly conduct, and trespass.

She was transported to Troop H where she was processed without further incident. She was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear on Friday, Dec. 27.
