Police: Tires Slashed On Four Cars Visiting Fairfield Home

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Tires were slashed on four cars while parked in the street as the cars' owners visited a home on Rolling Ridge Road on Monday evening, Fairfield police said.

The four owners of the four cars arrived at the home at about 7 p.m., they told police. When they went to leave at 9 p.m., the tires had been slashed, police said.

The rear window had been smashed on one car and two tires slashed, one owner told police. A rock was found in the back seat of the car, police said. The owner estimated the damaged at $2,000.

Another car owner said two tires had been slashed and estimated the damage at $500.

One tire was slashed on the third car, and the two left tires were slashed on the fourth car, police said. 

Police were investigating the incident.
