When officers arrived, they found a back window had been smashed open and the rear sliding lock had been tampered with, police said. The employee told officers that the man had left but he had been in he house when the employee arrived, police said.
The man, later identified at Michael Kondrat, 64, had left and headed in the direction of Park Avenue, where officers found him, police said. He was asked for identification, which he said he didn't have and said his name was James Wright, police said.
A photo search of Department of Correction records identified him as Kondrat, and the bank employee and a neighbor on Four Season Road made a positive identification, police said.
Police said Kondrat has been asked repeatedly to not return to the house on Four Seasons Road.
Kondrat was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing and interfering with a police officer. He was released on $500 bond and given a court date of Dec. 9.
