Michael E. Lubrano, 82, Worked At Fairfield's Wilbar Photoengraving

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Michael Ernest Lubrano of Fairfield died Monday, Nov. 3. He was 82.

Lubrano was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Nicholas and Stella Lubrano. He served in the Korean War. After his marriage, he moved to Queens, N.Y. In 1965, he relocated to Fairfield, where he later retired from Wilbar Photoengraving as a photo engraver after 42 years of service. He was a member of Holy Family Parish.

Lubrano is survived by his wife Grace; children, Michael A Lubrano (fiancée, Shirley Sullivan) of Chelmsford, Mass., Christopher Lubrano (Linda) of Hamden, and Timothy Lubrano, Dianne Baxter (Jeff), Nicholas Lubrano (Laurie), all of Fairfield, Debra Desing (Kevin) of Milford and Julie Moulton (David) of Bristol; eight grandchildren; sister, Rosemarie Angus of Brewster, Mass.; and several nieces, nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours are Thursday, Nov. 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 S. Benson Road, Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. meeting directly at Holy Family Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield, with interment to follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, 1740 Black Rock Turnpike.
