Aliberti was born Dec 17, 1930, in Pine Grove, Pa., to Phyllis and Ferris Leffler. She volunteered at the Van Wezel Performing Arts and served at Harvest UMC.
Aliberti is survived by her children, Renee (Mike) Childs of Sun City, Denise (Greg) Tanno of Trumbull, Conn., Dean (Julie) Aliberti of Milford, Conn., Lori (Dave) Ruth of Sarasota and Bobby (Christie) Aliberti of Tallahassee; 11 grandchildren; sister, Sara Richter; brother, Thomas Leffler; many nieces and nephews; and friend, Fred Ruth. She was predeceased by her husband, Umbert Aliberti; and sister, Nancy Hoblas.
Services will take place Friday, Nov. 14 and will begin with a viewing at 10 a.m., memorial service at 11 a.m. followed by a reception at Harvest United Methodist Church, 14305 Covenant Way, Lakewood Ranch FL 34202.
