FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield resident Jean Grace (DelVecchio) Nagy died on Tuesday, Jan. 26. She was 94.
She was born in Bridgeport on Feb. 4, 1921, to Leonard and Rose DelVecchio.
She remained athletic all her life, playing volleyball with her daughter Patricia and bowling in a senior league into her 80s.
Nagy was a parishioner of St. Emery's Church, in Fairfield.
She is survived by her daughters Patricia McCallum of Southport and Joanne Richards of St. Augustine, Fla.; sons Joseph Nagy of Greenwich and Michael Nagy of Fairfield; and four grandchildren.
Nagy was predeceased by her husband, Adolph Nagy; a son Richard Nagy; [and siblings Louis and Leonard DelVecchio, and Marie Mullins.
A Mass will be celebrated at noon on Saturday, Jan. 30, at St. Emery's Church, 838 King's Highway, in Fairfield, with her interment to follow at St. Thomas Cemetery. Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, in Fairfield, is assisting with arrangements.
