FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Barbara Jean Wargo, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, March 26. She was 62.
Wargo was born June 22, 1950, in Bridgeport, daughter of Henry and Frances Rafa. She was a lifeflong Fairfield resident. She attended Roger Ludlowe High School.
Wargo worked for her brother at Fairfield Chimney and Furnace for many years and also for Commercial Safety. She was a member of the Southport Fire Auxiliary.
Wargo is survived by her husband, William; son, William E. Wargo, Jr. (Jennifer) of North Haven; five granddaughters; brother, Henry Rafa (Sharon) of Virginia; sister, Diane Allen of Vermont; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours are Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 2 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield. Interment will be private.
