Flash Flood Watch Is In Effect For Fairfield

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Fairfield County until 8 p.m. on Monday.

Rain will be a continuing threat throughout the day on Monday with up to a quarter inch possible, especially after 4 p.m. 

Showers and thunderstorms will continue to linger in the forecast overnight with a low around 54. Chance of rain overnight is 90 percent. 

Rain will remain in the forecast through Wednesday afternoon.
