Coastal Flood Watch Thursday In Fairfield

 FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CONN. -- Residents in Southern Fairfield County should be aware that high winds and high tides may cause minor flooding on Thursday along the coastline, according to the National Weather Service.

A coastal flood watch is in effect for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Roads and buildings along the coastline may be particularly vulnerable to wave splash over. High winds and tides may generate flooding, particularly in low areas, the National Weather Service said.

The National Weather Service is predicting minor flooding for Stamford, New Haven and Bridgeport.
