Participants will learn fun cooking activities, be educated about nutrition, and discover yummy foods that are also healthy.

Faifield Warde High School student Samantha Strelzer, who is pursuing her Girl Scout Gold Award, has been a Girl Scout for 13 years. She initiated this free program through the library and will teach the classes.

Two of the classes are for kids and their parents to give a more in-depth understanding of the benefits of healthy eating and instructions on how to make meals using locally grown foods.

The seminar will culminate with the creation of a cookbook to take home.
