The show is scheduled for Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. It will be preceded by a cash bar and a silent auction starting at 5 p.m.

Tickets are $100, $75 or $50 and can be purchased here.

Attendees with $100 seats may attend a special Meet-and-Greet with the bands after the performance. Others can go as well for an extra $20.

All proceeds will be used to support education, screening and patient support services for those who are fighting pancreatic cancer.

Derringer was just 17 when he recorded "Hang On Sloopy" with The McCoys, who later merged with Johnny Winter's band in 1969. Since then he has appeared on and produced many albums, working with artists such as Steely Dan, Alice Cooper and Kiss.

The concert is hosted by radio personality Brian Smith of WPLR fame. The lineup also features Doug Wahlberg and Christopher Robin.

Robin has supported the benefit concerts in all previous years and is an avid champion of the cause. He has performed with Gregg Allman and The Marshall Tucker Band, among others.

The House Band from Fairfield's School of Rock will also play. The school is the nation’s leading after-school music program, focusing on performance-based rock for kids age 7 to 18.

The university is located at 1073 N. Benson Road, Fairfield.
