Selling Workshop for Non-Salespeople At Fairfield Library

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Strategies to take away your fear of selling will be covered in the "Selling Skills for Non-Sales People, A Small Business Strategies" program Tuesday at the Fairfield Library.

Jon Barb will lead the program designed to teach the five skills necessary for participants to sell themselves, products, services and ideas. How to prepare for face-to-face interaction, probe, support, close, involve the client using style-matching techniques, and follow-up also will be covered. 

Barb has more than 25 years experience conducting training programs for such companies as Xerox, Union Carbide and Olin.

The library's Small Business Strategies series is for current and prospective entrepreneurs. The program is free.
