Firefighters responded to the Danbury Lighthouse Ministries, 26 West St., around 4:30 p.m. Thursday after a caller reported the partial collapse, the Danbury Fire Department said. Crews arrived to find that a large portion of the building had caved in. It's unclear what caused the collapse.  Eversource secured the church’s electrical and natural gas services.
