Light Snow Causes Icy Travel Conditions In Some Fairfield County Spots

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Bands of light snow moving through parts of Fairfield County on Thursday morning have created icy travel conditions in some spots.

Though only light accumulation of less than an inch is expected, the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement for Northern Fairfield County, warning of the conditions on Thursday morning.

Thursday's high temperature will be between 34 and 36 degrees under cloudy skies with some snow flurries possible for the rest of the day.
