Bicyclist Issued Warning After Crash With Vehicle In Darien, Police Say A bicyclist in Fairfield County received a stern warning after he suffered minor injuries when he was struck by a car near a busy Darien intersection, police said. A driver was heading south on West Norwalk Road at approximately 3 p.m. on Monday, July 29, when the vehicle came to a complete stop at the intersection with Post Road. When making the turn, police said that a bicyclist, who was riding east on Post Road in the shoulder of the westbound lanes, was struck by the vehicle.
