Inmate Faces Additional Charges For New Canaan Fourth Of July Burglaries
An inmate already in custody in Connecticut is facing additional charges after a police investigation tied him to a string of auto larcenies last summer. Investigators from the New Canaan Police Department were in Norwalk Court on Thursday to serve an active arrest warrant on Vanshawne Wheeler, who is currently incarcerated for unknown charges. Police said that Wheeler committed 11 larcenies from motor vehicles overnight on the Fourth of July last year.
