The Thanksgiving Eve incident happened early Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 22 on the Rainbow Bridge at Niagara Falls, New York. Niagara Falls Police say  Kurt Villani, and his wife, Monica Villani, both age 53, died in the vehicle explosion which led to a federal investigation. CT Man Sentenced For Dark Web Fentanyl Distribution A Connecticut man was sentenced to more than a decade in prison for trafficking drugs on the dark web, leading to a fatal overdose, and firearm charges. Barry Duclos, age 43, of New London County, was sentenced on Tuesday, Feb. 1, to 170 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release, according to Leonard Boyle, United States attorney for the District of Connecticut. Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Two Children In Fairfield County A man who allegedly sexually assaulted two young girls over the course of several years in Fairfield County is in custody after attempting to flee the country, police said. On Nov. 11, 2019, the Danbury Police Department received a complaint involving the sexual abuse of a 12-year-old girl, which led to 33-year-old Juan Perez-Barbahona being identified as a suspect. The allegations against Perez-Barbahona led to an extensive investigation by the Danbury Police Department’s Special Victims Unit, which determined that the sexual assault had been ongoing for several years.
