Westchester Woman Accused Of Evading Accident Gives Officer False Name, Greenwich Police Say
A Westchester woman accused of evading an accident allegedly gave a false name to police, according to Greenwich Police.
On Sunday, July 21 at approximately 9 p.m. police noticed a woman standing outside a residence she frequents in Byram. who had an active warrant for her arrest for allegedly evading an accident June 10, Greenwich Police said.
During the investigation, she allegedly gave a false name to police to hide her identity, according to police.
Maria Hernandez, 47, of Port Chester, was then charged with subsequently charged with interfering with an officer/resisting, police said. …
Pedestrian Struck, Killed On I-95

A pedestrian was struck and killed on a stretch of I-95 in an early morning incident, Connecticut State Police said.
Troopers were dispatched to the stretch of the interstate shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, where there was a report of a car that struck a pedestrian between exits 70 and 69 in Old Saybrook.
The victim, Killingworth resident Richard Dupre, Jr., 51, was hit by a 1997 Jeep driven by Clinton resident Andrew Sikorowicz, while Dupre was in the right center lane of the interstate, police said. Sikorowicz was unable to avoid the pedestrian,…
