Edgar Ismalej-Gomez, age 26, of Stamford, is wanted in connection with the death, said Stamford Police Capt. Tom Scanlon, of the Stamford Police. Man Wanted For Stealing $15K Rolex From Stamford Store, Police Say Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly stole a $15,000 Rolex from an area jewelry store. The incident took place around 4 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at a jewelry store on High Ridge Road. According to Stamford Police Sgt. Social Media Helps Police Identify Teens Responsible For Soccer Field Damage With the help of social media, police were able to identify two teens responsible for vandalism to the soccer field at the Ansonia Nature Center. The two male juveniles were charged Saturday, March 2, with the vandalism of the soccer field at the Ansonia Nature Center in February. The damage to the field was estimated to be more than $1,500, the Ansonia Police said.
