Kidnapping Suspect: 23-Year-Old Grabs, Assaults, Drugs Victim, Norwalk Police Say
A victim lived through a day of fear and assaults at the hands of a Connecticut man the person knew, according to authorities.
On Wednesday, July 5, Norwalk Police received a complaint that New Haven County resident Enrique Rivas-Castillo, age 23, of Ansonia, had threatened the victim over the phone, said Lt. Joe Dinho, of the Norwalk Police.
Investigating officers learned that on Monday, July 3, Rivas-Castillo was at the victim’s residence in Norwalk and threatened to assault the victim.

Fairfield County Man Nabbed For Stabbing Woman In Face, Holding Her, Police Say
A Fairfield County man is behind bars after allegedly stabbing a woman in the face multiple times and then holding her hostage.
Quentin Lewis, age 28, of Stamford, was arrested around 3 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, after he turned himself in to police on a warrant for the incident which took place on Saturday, March 19.
The woman was found by a Connecticut state trooper who was driving in the area of Broad Street bleeding from her face, said Capt. Richard Conklin, of the Stamford Police.

New Hampshire Man In Custody After Hours-Long Standoff At Connecticut Hotel
After a standoff that lasted more than three hours, a New England man who was barricaded in a hotel room with a woman was arrested by police.
Jordan Pappalardo, age 26, of Manchester, New Hampshire, was arrested on Monday, April 26, in Connecticut by Manchester Police after he told officers he had a gun and refused to come out of the Courtyard By Marriott, said Lt. Ryan Shea of the Manchester Police Department.
The incident began around 10:30 p.m. when officers attempted to contact Pappalardo who had an extraditable warrant out of New Hampshire, said Shea.

Patient Accused Of Assaulting Staffer At Hospital In Fairfield County
A Fairfield County man was arrested for allegedly attacking an area hospital employee and making threats.
Brian Dougherty, age 51, of Stamford, was arrested around 3:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, after Greenwich Police Officers responded to Greenwich Hospital, authorities said.
Dougherty assaulted a member of the hospital staff and made threats, said Greenwich PD Capt. Mark E. Zuccerella.
He was charged with assaulting a public health worker, threatening, and disorderly conduct.
Dougherty was held on a $10,000 bond which he was unable to post.
