Two 16-Year-Old HS Students Killed In Fiery Single-Car Crash
Two 16-year-olds were killed and three other teens were seriously injured during a fiery single-vehicle crash. It happened in Litchfield County around 2:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, on Rossie Road near the border of the town of Litchfield and town of Torrington, according to multiple sources. June ‘Deadliest’ Month For CT Teen Drivers, AAA Warns
As the summer driving season unofficially kicks off, officials with AAA are cautioning Connecticut parents as well as teenagers that distracted driving can be fateful as the “100 Deadliest Days” begin. AAA said that June is the "deadliest" month for teen drivers in Connecticut, with the most cases of crashes in any month between 2015 and 2019, according to the UConn Crash Data Repository.
